Portfolio Layouts - Chase Smolen
http://www.creativebloq.com/portfolios/examples-712368
I personally like how each image has a size purpose for the portfolio. It feels like it fits in a symmetrical way.
I like the simplicity of this layout. The asymmetrical balance works well with this.

I really like the layout for this. I feel like the overall theme with the pieces and the background feels very suiting.
The use of text for the website layout feels very suiting for the pieces this artist has made. The simplicity of the layout works well for the portfolio.
Although I like the simplicity of this layout, I really like the use of a border for this layout. I feel that it was used to attract the audience to the center. I feel that it grabs attention very well in this portfolio.
5 Portfolios-Mitch Manning
I like this portfolio because it uses the same color scheme throughout the whole piece. The black and white against it really makes it all pop.
I think this portfolio clearly gets across what this artist designs, glasses. With just her name next to it makes it very simple.
This portfolio is interesting because it shows how many different styles this artist can work with, it ranges from cartoons of robots to animals to a realistic looking tractor.
I like how this portfolios layout. There is a lot of empty space but everything is well balanced.
This portfolio is different from the rest because I feel like this artist really gets his point across of what work he/ she is in to. Each drawing looks like it could be inside of a story and the background is text from a book.
portfolio layout- Javier Flores
I like the look and the color this uses.
I like the use of boxes and the different art within the boxes.
I like how the page has pictures in boxes and they are different sizes.

Portfolio Layouts - Jhelenie Cruz

1st Image
I really like how the portfolio is printed onto black paper. It looks very sleek when it's on the black paper. And the layout and simplicity of the pages are very appealing.
2nd Image
This layout I feel is pretty similar to the first one, in the sense that the layouts are very simple and straightforward. Although this is printed onto plain white paper, there's is a small description, and mostly the artwork on the pages.
3rd Image
If I did have a large amount of artwork, I would definitely like a portfolio like this. One side with a description, and the next page with the whole image. It is definitely the most straightforward of the portfolios so far.

4th image
Although this doesn't show the inside of the portfolio, the cover is just as important as what is inside. And with portfolios, I'm finding that simple if probably the best way to approach them. Having them simple and sleek definitely is very appealing and makes me want to look at the details more.

5th Image
Another example of the over instead of the artworks and inside pages. I think I can easily say now that I heavily favor the simple designs of the portfolios.
